Position Summary The Registered Dietitian responsible for providing nutritional assessment, education and support to preoperative and postoperative bariatric surgery patients. Specific duties include participating in monthly bariatric surgery educational programs & support group; providing nutritional assessment and counseling to pre and post operative bariatric surgery patients; collaborating with the surgeon to monitor each patients weight loss and nutritional status throughout the program; and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings.. The Bariatric Dietitian also oversees and implements the hospital's Clinically Supervised Weight Management Program.
