Description:
Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the activities of the Facilities Management department, construction, grounds and plant engineering to provide services, repair and maintenance necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hospital and clinic facilities and to maintain a comfortable physical environment for patients, employees, medical staff and the public in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, budgetary requirements, and applicable local, state and federal building, safety and hospital codes. SMC is a multi facility campus in excess of 1.5 million square feet with an annual budget in excess of 3 million dollars. Other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor.
