Description:
Director of NICU, Pediatrics, and Cleft lip and C left Palate, at Rose Medical Center in Denver. Position Summary: The Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) and Pediatric Services provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordination, monitoring, and evaluating the care provided for patients. Responsibilities include fiscal, human resource, quality, risk management, operational functions, strategic planning, and development of staff. Maintains 24 hour accountability. The Nurse Director performs duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center, HealthOne Perinatal Services and Rocky Mountain Children's Hospital Affiliation for Pediatric Services. The Director displays positive support for the values and mission of Rose Medical Center. Provides care for and supervises care of the neonatal and pediatric population. II. Position Requirements: A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado. Current BLS and NRP certification. Neonatal nursing specialty certification (RNC) preferred.
