Food Svc Worker PRN- Multi Purpose Food Service Cook/Serve Job

Description:
I. Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Production Manager, Cook 1/Grill performs a variety of food service duties for patients, employees medical staff and visitors. Completes assigned sanitation, dish-room duties and other related tasks. II. Position Requirements: A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: None B.

Education:
High School or completion of GED preferred. C.

Experience:
Prior healthcare related food service experience preferred, but will train. D. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be knowledgeable in food handling, food safety and sanitation. Must be familiar with a variety of types of food service equipment, copy machine and telephone. Must be able to work in hot, humid environment. Must be able to read, write and speak English. III. Degree of Supervision Required: Operational supervision to ensure task completion. IV. Orientation Period: 90 days. May be modified at the discretion of the manager. I.
