Description:
The Self Pay Patient Account Representative works closely with patients who do not have insurance, or those who have out-of-pocket balances due to high deductibles or limited benefits, in order to set up reasonable monthly payment plans. Duties include, but are not limited to: ·Work with physician practices to identify a qualifying patient base ·Run customized reports from the IDX data base ·Contact patient by phone and/or mail to discuss payment options ·Account follow-up ·Provide in-service training for physician office staff ·Prepare reports as needed The Self Pay Patient Account Representative works closely with patients who do not have insurance, or those who have out-of-pocket balances due to high deductibles or limited benefits, in order to set up reasonable monthly payment plans.
