Description:
I. Position Summary: The Mechanic Specialist performs general, routine maintenance and servicing operations to maintain the hospital buildings and equipment, in accordance with applicable codes, laws and accreditation standards. Responsible for a designated portion of these buildings, including assigned preventive maintenance and daily non-scheduled work requests. Covers all areas of the facility when on-call, weekend rotation or as assigned. Other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor. Equipment List: 1. Hand tools 2. Power tools 3. Computer 4. Test instruments 5. Vehicles 6. 2-way radio I.
