   HealthONE Supply Chain Services has an opening for an OR Internal Control Coordinator located at Swedish Medical Center, Englewood, CO.  

      

  The Supply Chain OR Internal Control Coordinator is responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining all supply chain system activities within the OR department. 

    

  The General Summary of Duties for this position: 

 
·
   Maintains and creates Meditech OR preference cards   


·  Maintains the Meditech OR dictionaries with respect to supplies  

·  Maintains the crosswalk and other master file synchronization between the Meditech OR, Point of Use Technology, and SMART system  

·  Interacts with the Clinical Resource Manager and OR Material Manager on all OR Supply Cost management projects; including physical inventory counts  

· Interacts with the OR Clinical Services Coordinators and OR Analyst to ensure the accuracy of the Meditech physician preference cards and inventory dictionaries. 



   This position reports directly to the Director, Supply Chain Operations.

This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person.  The Director of Risk Management will direct the clinical risk management program, including functions of clinical risk management, claims management, program administration and risk management education for this facility.  This individual will be responsible for coordinating those systems necessary for identification, evaluation, monitoring, reduction and/or elimination of professional and general liability risk exposures.  This individual will provide counseling and education to facility leadership, clinical personnel, board of governors and medical staff members related to risk exposures including risk prevention and risk reduction.  The Director of Risk Management will participate in the management and support of professional liability litigation at the direction and under the guidance of the HCI Department of Claims.  When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 Duties Include But Are Not Limited To: 
 
·Conducts physician chart audits (includes research and presentation).

·Performs utilization analysis.

·Provides financial analysis and coding practices.

·Develops and conducts training sessions for physicians and staff on relevant topics such as; documentation guidelines, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and the Correct Coding Initiative.

·Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of coding guidelines and relevant  federal through the use of current CPT-4, HCPCS II, and ICD-9 materials, the Federal Register, and other pertinent materials.

·Enhances professional growth and development through in-service meetings, educational programs, conferences, ect.

·Maintains strictest confidentiality.

·Assists in the preparation of training materials.

·Conducts EOB analysis and tracks denial patterns.

·Available to assist and direct physician practice codes and other appropriate staff in billing, coding, and reimbursement issues.

·Performs related work and projects as requires.

·Acts as a liaison between practice and the service center.

·Conducting front desk training and monitoring.

·Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement".
