 Position Summary:   The Staff Registered Nurse, Endoscopy, must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for his/her patients, and may function in the role of charge nurse.  Endoscopy requires specialized skills and/or serves specific age groups, which may include adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations.  The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based in the physical, psychological, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient.  The Staff Registered Nurse, Endoscopy, may rotate to areas other than Endoscopy, and will perform only those duties for he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse may be asked to float to Well Baby Nursery or Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency.  The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center. 

  

  

           Position Requirements:  

          Licensure/Certification/Registration:   Current Colorado Registered Nurse License, Current BLS certification and PALS certification be obtained within one year of hire.

PRN ER position requires previous/current experience in Emergency Room.   Various hours will be available for qualified RN. 

  

 Position Summary:  Provides individualized patient care in the Emergency Department.  This care is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patients. Performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center. Works in collaboration with the ED tech's to maintain supplies, stock and equipment. The RN displays positive support for the mission and values of RMC.  Provides care to all age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. 

  

 II.               Position Requirements:  

 A.        Licensure/Certification/Registration:   Current Colorado Registered Nurse License, Current BLS, ACLS certification, Must obtain PALS certification within 3 months of hiring. ENPC and CEN preferred. 

  

 B.      <br><br><b>Education:</b><br>   Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.  BSN preferred. 

  

  

 C.       <br><br><b>Experience:</b><br>   Minimum of 1-2 years experience preferred. May be modified at the discretion of the Director. 

  

 D.       Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the standards of nursing practice at RMC. Demonstrates good organizational skills, ability to plan and provide for delivery of nursing services. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Demonstrates the ability to address customer and staff concerns. Responsible for daily quality control checks as assigned. Communicates effectively, in a positive and professional manner with staff and physicians, EMS personnel, patients and families. Maintains current certificates and competencies and actively participates on the Unit Based Council, committees and staff meetings. May be asked to float to areas other then the emergency department, and will perform only those duties for which there is demonstrated competency.

PRN ER position requires previous/current experience in Emergency Room.   Various hours will be available for qualified RN. 

  

 Position Summary:  Provides individualized patient care in the Emergency Department.  This care is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patients. Performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center. Works in collaboration with the ED tech's to maintain supplies, stock and equipment. The RN displays positive support for the mission and values of RMC.  Provides care to all age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. 

  

 II.               Position Requirements:  

 A.        Licensure/Certification/Registration:   Current Colorado Registered Nurse License, Current BLS, ACLS certification, Must obtain PALS certification within 3 months of hiring. ENPC and CEN preferred. 

  

 B.      Education:   Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.  BSN preferred. 

  

  

 C.       Experience:   Minimum of 1-2 years experience preferred. May be modified at the discretion of the Director. 

  

 D.       Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the standards of nursing practice at RMC. Demonstrates good organizational skills, ability to plan and provide for delivery of nursing services. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Demonstrates the ability to address customer and staff concerns. Responsible for daily quality control checks as assigned. Communicates effectively, in a positive and professional manner with staff and physicians, EMS personnel, patients and families. Maintains current certificates and competencies and actively participates on the Unit Based Council, committees and staff meetings. May be asked to float to areas other then the emergency department, and will perform only those duties for which there is demonstrated competency.
