 Summary of Duties:

  The Facility IT&S Manager provides technical and managerial leadership in establishing goals and priorities and in the overall management of day to day operations within a HCA hospital.  ·  Responsible for technical and managerial leadership in the establishment of goals and priorities, design, planning, day to day operation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of facility IT&S infrastructure including telecommunications (as applicable), desktop and server support, and network cabling and wiring. 

 · Meets with facility level leadership teams, as needed, to align strategy, services, and coordinate implementation activities.

 · Represents IT&S on hospital committees to manage organizational alignment and shared objectives on an ongoing basis.

 · Recruits, manages, leads, develops, and retains facility IT&S staff.

 · Responsible for managing any hospital-specific hardware and software (as needed).

 · Ensures hospital compliance with enterprise and division policies, standards, and plans encompassing security, operating procedures, networks, data, voice, software, applications, and hardware.

 · Responsible for representing and communicating facility IT&S needs to division.

 · Maintains strong relationships with division IT&S team.

 · Assists the director in the development of the annual budget and 3-year strategic plan.

 · Ensures resources are assigned for the timely resolution of IT&S incidents and requests.

 · Participates in resource planning and allocates resources to meet IT&S goals and business priorities.

 · Organizes, plans, assigns, monitors, and assists in completion of work.

 · Creates an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolutions, cross-training, and process improvement within the IT&S area and across organizational boundaries.
